In the world of professional wrestling, a heated debate has been brewing behind the scenes of WWE. The question on everyone's mind: how many live events should wrestlers undertake to perfect their craft without risking injury? This dilemma has gained prominence since the company, under the leadership of Paul "Triple H" Levesque, scaled back its live event schedule.
During an appearance on "Busted Open Radio," Levesque delved into the importance of live events for wrestlers' development. He described it as a "tough mix," acknowledging the need for practice and progression while also considering the physical toll on performers.
"The live events are crucial for gaining experience and moving the business forward," Levesque explained. "We're actively trying to increase the number of reps, especially in NXT, to provide more opportunities for growth. The challenge lies in finding the right balance between keeping our wrestlers fresh and ensuring their development isn't hindered by excessive travel."
